Forbidden Fruit

This series explores reimagining the feminine in mythology. These paintings specifically recall the myth of The Garden of Eden, which is usually conveyed as a story about exile and temptation. However, I have chosen to represent the myth from a feminine perspective, as the birth of human consciousness, a very fortunate occurrence indeed.
